Synonyms Game

Practice academic and everyday vocabulary by choosing the best synonym before time runs out. This game includes student sign-in, teacher-selected time limits, score tracking, streak bonuses, and a printable report.

Perfect for classroom, homework, tutoring, homeschooling, or weekend practice.

  • Choose from Standard Synonyms or Advanced Synonyms
  • Standard level uses 4 answer choices
  • Advanced level uses 6 answer choices
  • +1 point for each correct answer
  • +2 streak bonus for every 4 consecutive correct answers
  • Printable report includes score, accuracy, time spent, streak bonus total, and level played
Teacher Note: Students must enter a name to begin. Teacher, class, period, and assignment code are optional. Choose the level and time limit, then have students answer as many synonym questions as possible before time runs out. This version uses screened distractors to reduce obvious synonym-family conflicts and cycles through the word bank before repeating terms within each level.
